Digital Craft People - Damien Borowik
Digital Craft People’s latest project centres around the creation of unique drawing machines by Damien Borowik, which in turn are used to create unique drawings. In an iterative process, where the artist continually develops the digital and mechanical capabilities of the machine, artist, code and machine combine to make graphical drawings with exquisite mark-making qualities.

Expanding Square Composition Black
This composition is a unique drawing made by artist’s hand-crafted drawing machine.
Starting from the centre of the first square, the machine is slowly pushing the pen, spiralling outwards by moving the motors forward then backward in a sequence, increasing the length of lines to draw after each cycle.
The lines made in those drawing varies from one iteration to the next, making each drawing unique.
